Naughty or Nice?

Usually when you think of naughty or nice your talking about the kids, In our situation it was Santa Clause. Today we took a family trip to see Santa at the mall. We were all really excited. It was Me, Jeremy, Mom and Dad. Everything was going so well. The lines were small everyone was in a good mood except Santa Clause. I was so mad when I got home and saw up close that Santa had more of a grimace expression then a smile. So I asked my brillant husband Jeremy to do his magic and make Santa Jolly again. It's amazing what computer graphics can do. I now love Santa again. Enjoy

2 month follow up

My little man is getting so big. He went for his two month check up on Friday and he weighed in at 12pds 8oz, and he's 25 1/2 inches long. He also got his first set of immunization shots which he did like at all. Poor thing starting screaming as soon as he felt the first shot. The nurse was really fast but not fast enough for Alex. I felt so bad for my little pumpkin he got five shots. He was a little sore over the weekend but other than that he's fine. I can't believe how fast the time has gone by. It does not feel like 2 months have passed. I cherish every second with my little man because I know in a blink of an eye he will be a grown man.

Today was very exciting for me! Alex went to his very first picnic hosted by my mom's neighborhood. It was a lot of fun meeting all of our neighbors. They had food, games, face paintings, etc. My favorite part of the picnic, besides Alex getting his face painted was my mom sneaking watermelon to Alex. I was able to catch her on video. "Dirty dog" In case anyone was wondering he's not even 2 months old yet. Jeremy is going to be so mad. Bad Nana. Well Enjoy the video and the pictures.

I had so much fun today with my Rosie. She came over and we played dress up. She wanted to take some last minute pregnancy photos of me before Alex is born. I think she did a great job and the part is I saved a lot money because it was free LOL..

Baby Alex

I went to the doctor on Wednesday and everything is looking good so far. My due date is September 7th but I'm hoping that the baby will come before the 31st. Please God... I haven't been sleeping well and I'm very uncomfortable. During the day at work it's not too bad because I stay busy but as soon as I get home and relax it hits hard. I'm going to try to work up till the day the baby is born.
Baby Alex weighs about 6'1/2 pounds right now and I'm not sure how tall he is yet. I now have to see the doctor every week until he’s born. The doctor is going to take another Sonogram at 39 weeks if he hasn’t come yet. Were supposed to have a tropical storm coming through this week that might turn into a category 1 hurricane. My boss at work keeps teasing me and telling me that women go into labor early during hurricanes because of the change in air pressure. God I hope not. Well that's about it for now until next Wednesday when I see the doctor again. Here are the sonogram photos that were taken at my visit. It looks like Alex has chubby cheeks. Enjoy!

Brandy & Jeremy's Baby Shower

Jeremy and I had so much fun at our Baby Shower on Sunday. I knew it was going to be nice but had no idea that it was going to be this nice. I loved all the little touches that everyone did for our shower, starting with the Diaper Cake that mom made. Honestly I think that it was the most beautiful Diaper Cake I have ever seen in my life. I looked some up on the Internet just for fun and none of them came remotely close to my mom’s cake. She had never made one before and I think she out did herself. She also made Jeremy a Diaper Dootie Tool Belt as a practical joke and it was the hit of the party. It was so funny seeing him open the present and then trying it on in front of everyone.

I also loved my baby shower themed cupcakes that Rosanna and Susan made. They were so yummy and cute to look at that I almost didn’t want to eat them. Oh well – I couldn’t help myself - they know my weaknesses! Also Rosie decorated the house beautifully. My colors were blue and white and everything looked great. She also had over 50 blue and white balloons.

Last but defiantly not least we had our own personalized candy bars and bottle water that my Aunt Tina made for our baby shower. They were a complete surprise. Aunt Tina did this without me knowing about it! They were the perfect party favors to hand out to everyone.

It was so nice seeing all of my friends at my party. I got so many great gifts. It’s going to take me a while to organize everything but I'm not complaining. After everyone left it was just me and the girls and they acted like they were pregnant too and put pillows under there clothes for our fun group pictures.

Spaghetti Night

My best friend Susan had me over for spaghetti dinner the other night and it was so good. Her boyfriend Jon was really the one that made the dinner for everyone and Susan was the gracious hostesses. She had her place set up so cute. Candles were lit and everything. The only thing missing was the Italian music. Here are a few photos of that night.

I've been marked for life

Ok, are you ready for this one... My back was really hurting me today at mom's. I ask her for the heating pad and she placed it on my lower back and butt. When she did this she noticed that I had stretch marks on my butt. She started laughing at me and told me I missed an area!!! I thought she was just being mean and asked her to stop because I wasn’t feeling well!!!!!

OK - It's 3 hours later and I am feeling better. Mom ask me if I was now ready to look at my butt. Low and behold - I HAVE STRETCH MARKS ON MY BUTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Both checks!!!!!!!Oh my god!!!!! Jeremy is in deep trouble! I didn't know you could get them there and I haven’t been putting lotion on my rear......Picture to follow:

Guess who's in town

What a surprise... My best friend Rosanna and her fiancé Stephen decided I guess to surprise everyone by coming down for the weekend. I was so excited to see them. I had so much fun while they were in town. I went bowling with everyone last Friday night and since it's hard for me to bend over or even move half of the time I decided to sit and watch while everyone else bowled.

Jeannette was so cute she kept me company the whole time I love her so much. We acted like little kids while we were there. We sang songs and got fake tattoos from the tattoo machine and put them on. Jeannette is 15 years old and has been pestering me and Rosanna about getting a real tattoo. She knows how much we hate them so I decided to show her that fake tattoos are just as cool and the best thing of all is that it comes off! She got a Hawaiian flower that I thought would look cute on her shoulder blade and I got Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh which Jeannette thought it would be funny to put it on my stomach LOL....... We were so excited to show everyone what we did.

Girls Night

I had so much fun hanging out with the girls the other night. My best friend Susan ordered Pizza and we watch The Other Boleyn Girl. It was me, Jeannette, Susan and Teresa. After the movie was over Susan decided she was going to play photographer and take some maternity photos of me since I didn't have any. At first I was a little uncomfortable but then I got into it. We had so much fun! I always thought Susan would be a great photographer if she ever decided to become one. Here are a few photos that she took. "Enjoy"

Imagine this.... your laying on the examining table waiting for your sonogram. You are so excited and can't wait to see how big your baby as gotten and low and behold the doctor places the scope on your tummy and guess what your little man is doing. "Playing with himself". If you can believe this he had one hand sucking his thumb and the other foundling his penis. I thought I was going to die of embarrassment. I asked Dr. Rudolph can babies really do this and she said yes. All I can say is like father like son.
